The round began under still, sunny conditions.  The recent scarifying meant that the greens were a little challenging but everyone faced the same conditions.  As the round progressed the wind blew up and the air became much colder.  This had little effect on Shannon Wright, who after an ordinary first nine blasted four birdies on the back nine to come in with a 37, one over the card.  However it was a day where steady and consistent golf was what was required.  On a cool, gusting afternoon the results were;

Winner; Mal Mottram – 78/8/70 from Mick Squire – 75/3/72 & Steve Wilkins – 88/16/72

NTPs; 1st – Ralph Senn, 15th – Kev Dunn & 16th Steve Wilkins
