Saturday February 20th – 2021 Summer Cup Rd 3B – Stableford

Light rain was falling as the field headed to the tee for the Stableford round., the rain fell at irregular intervals for the remainder of the round.  The strong field saw a number of unusual tees being used but all worked well and the field flowed smoothly.  I was good to welcome back long term member John Moody for his first Saturday round in many months also good to welcome newcomers Eugene and Rob Bretherton. The course was again in top condition with the greens fast and true except the9th and 15th which g-had been attacked by the birds.  Hopefully these corellas are about to move on.  Conditions were excellent for golf and a number fo players carded good scores.  On a sunny afternoon with periods of light rain the results were;

Winner; Jim Patton – (19) – 43 pts from Davey Kenney (17) – 40 pts, Andrew Clement (9) – 37 pts, Keith Hocking (29) – 37 pts & Elaine Scanlon (34) – 36 pts
