Romsey golf club sent five golfers along to the Broadford Tournament, a great effort by our small club.
The weather, although chilly, was kind and the looming storm clouds passed by. The course had quite a bit of run and the greens were very tricky to say the least!   Many a golfer had a lunch time story of putting off the green from above the hole. Those who conquered the greens scored the best of the day. Lunch was lovely and the hospitality great. Playing the course was good preparation for those who will be soon playing a pennant match at Broadford.
Cheryle Andersen (Kilmore) had the best scratch score of 86 to win the Scratch trophy, Cheryle is playing some great golf at the moment having previously won the A Grade at Seymour.
Grade winners were Glenda Woods  (Seymour), Pam Jarvis (Seymour) and Bev Bellman (Marysville).
Beryl, Jenny and Elaine enjoyed their outing, the golf and the hospitality as of course did the other two, with Darlene and Wendy both looking forward to playing a bit better when next on this course
