Wednesday January 4th – Ambrose

The course was in great condition for a round of Ambrose however the very strong Southerly wind played havoc.  Balls hit high across the wind were instantly whipped away and the seemingly perfect shots to the green were continually blown off to the side.  Those who adapted well and learned from their Ambrose partners faired best. The morning’s results were; 
1st.      Mitch Atlas/Steve Wilkins/Rob Slade – 64/6.5/57.5
2nd.     Michael McCarten, Luke Lyons, John Freestone, Sherif Abdel Sayed – 69/9/60
3rd.      Darlene Baker, Jenny Hartley and Wendy Gosden – 75/13.3/61.7
