Wednesday June 21st – Stableford

Players hit-off under cool, misty conditions.  Players had to take extra care to keep grips and gloves dry or pay the price of shifting during a stroke and the ball heading almost anywhere.  Again, the cold air and the soft fairways saw all drives and many approach shots well short of expected distances.  Highlights of the day were birdies to Jenny Hartley on the Par 3 1st and to Wendy Gosden on the Par 3 15th.  On a chilly morning the results were;

Winner; Darlene Baker – (22) – 33 pts from Kath Jekabsons (28) & Beryl Cole (24) – 32 pts

Men’s Winner; Michael McCarten (11) 31 pts
